Investigation on visual-methodological relation ship of 7th year soci̇al studi̇es course

In this study; It is aimed to examine the 7th grade social studies textbook which is being taught in secondary schools attached to MoNE in terms of visual-text relation. Sub-problems of the research; "Completeness of Visual Appreciation with Text," "Appropriateness of Visual Element and Content to Student Level", "Subject Heading-Visual Element Compliance", "Text Main Idea-Visual Element Compliance" and "Visual Diversity in Metaphor". 7. Class Social Studies This is a document analysis based on text analysis aiming to examine the textbook in terms of visual-text relation. In this research, document analysis which is also used in accordance with quantitative research method has been done. Existing studies for the purpose of working in the research process were examined, the necessary information was noted and evaluation process was carried out from this information. All the subtopic headings in the units in the 7th grade social studies textbook were placed on the evaluation scale. Unit topics and subtitles are collected on the scale through tables consisting of "Yes", "No", "Partially" grades. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the 7th grade social studies textbook can be varied from the visual point of view.
