Abstract (EN)
Many situations that we gain or are exposed to during childhood affect the later stages of our life. Sleep, which has a great influence in regulating children's emotions, has a great physiologically significant effect both in quality and in its existence. Although the content of sleep remains mystery, there is a literary compromise on necessity. In order to understand the state of sleep, we need to determine the importance of the variables that affect it. This necessitates an in-depth study of sleeping problems. For this purpose, we investigated the relationship between sleeping problems and attachment styles in children aged 8-10 years. The sample of the study will consist of 378 children with a 95% confidence interval and a 5% error margin with a specific sample of the universe. This study will be carried out on 378 8-10 year old children participating in Başakşehir, Ziyagökalp, Kayaşehir, Şamlar and İkitelli OSB districts in Istanbul in 2017. The demographic information obtained during this study and statistically planned randomness status will be searched. All of the subjects in the study group were administered '' Children Sleep Habits Questionnaire '', '' Near Relatives Experience Inventory-II Middle Childhood Period Scale 'and' 'Socio-demographic Information Form' '. Istanbul is the sample that needs to be generalized. Data will be collected for the period between October 2017 and February 2018. The data will be analyzed using the SPSS 20 packet program. In terms of research data, children's scores on sleep problems scale and attachment styles subscale did not statistically correlate with avoidant and anxious attachment scores. Attachment style subscale attachment avoidance scores and anxious attachment scores were statistically significant. In addition, the attachment style scale subscale, which affects the 41 threshold points of the scores of the sleep problems children aged 8, 9 and 10 years participating in the study, was defined as avoidant attachment.
