Personal Information Form, Conscience Perception Scale, Compassion Fatigue Scale were used to collect data. Statistical analyzes were performed using the package program named SPSS (IBMSPSSİstatistik27). Frequency tables and descriptive statistics were used to interpret the findings. Parametric methods ("Independent Sample-t" Scale (t-table value), "ANOVA" Scale (F table value) and Tukey test) were used for measurement values suitable for normal distribution. 65.4% of the nurses were female, 80%, It was determined that 3 of them had a bachelor's degree and 24.7% were married. The nurses participating in the study received 53.81±11.24 points from the conscience perception scale and 59.19±26.78 points from the compassion fatigue short scale. In addition, it was found that the nurses' age, educational level, working years in the unit, working style and marital status had an impact on compassion fatigue. As the Conscience Perception Scale score increases, the Compassion Fatigue Scale score also increases (p>0.05). As a result of this research; It was determined that the nurses' perception of conscience was at a medium level and the intensity of compassion was at a high level. It was found that there was no significant relationship between nurses' conscience perception and compassion fatigue. As a result, it is recommended that nurses plan and implement training to prevent compassion fatigue and burnout and to develop effective coping methods, both from a managerial and individual perspective.
