Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of work engagement on organizational silence. As a result of changing living conditions and increasing competition from past to present, organizations need engaged employees who love their jobs in order to maintain their continuity. Work engagement, the performance of the employees with the highest performance can be defined as giving themselves. Work engagement; ıt consists of three dimensions: energy, engaged and concentration. Organizational silence; employees in the event of an event in the organization knowingly and willingly not to express their ideas and thoughts can be defined as. Organizational silence; ıt consists of three dimensions: acceptance silence, conservative silence and protectionist silence. Organizational silence can be seen as an obstacle to the development and change of organizations. From this point of view, the importance of determining the effect of work engagement on organizational silence emerges in terms of organizations. In this study, a comprehensive literature review was made and theoretical knowledge about the concepts of work engagement and organizational silence were given. The implementation part of the study was carried out by 197 officers working in a municipality which operates in Ankara province. Correlation and regression analysis were applied to determine the effect of variables. As a result of the analyzes, it has been determined that work engagement has a positive effect on organizational silence.Anahtar Kelimeler: Work Engagement, Organizational Silence.
