Attıtudes and behavıors of adolescents their parents and teachers about sexual, reproductıve health

SUMMARYChildren?s physical, psycological, biochemical and social rapid growth anddevelopment happens in adolescent period and they pass through child life to adultlife in this period.Adolescents must be educated and informed about physical, emotional and socialevolutions while growing and developing , to be a healthy individual.Adolescence is a transient period of life that chidren pass through adult life by a rapidphysical , psycological, biochemical and social growth and development .Adolescents ; face to some health problems in this period;sexual/reproductive healthproblems are one of these; Growth health problems in adolescent period aregenerally ; early sexual habits , early age weddings , adolescent pregnancies ,sexually transmitted diseases , difficulty in approaching family planning methods,sexual/reproductive health education insufficiency.Adolescents can take information about growth and development from differentsources . n our study ; the first source of knowledge about sexual and reproductivehealth is ? schoolmates conversations? second is ? books and magazines ?, third is ételevision and teachers ?, and then the fourth is ? parents ?.We defined that parents do not talk about sexual/reproductive health sufficiently withtheir sublings and the subjects that they talk about are so insufficient and we alsolearned that most of the parents do not talk anything about these subjects with theirsublings and talking about sexual and reproductive health is still a taboo.Parents support that education about these subjects must be in schools.Parents andteachers have an important role in adolescents? sexual and reproductive healtheducation . When adolescents? education about sexual/reproductive health issufficient they get ready in to adult life with knowledge of sexual/reproductive health.
