A review over Ahmet Yılmaz Boyunağa's life, works and historical novels

Ahmet Yılmaz Boyunağa is one of the most important writers in Turkish literature but his life and his works are not examined comprehensively. It is aimed that this study on his historical novels and his novelistic life helps to reveal his sense of art. His twelve novels are analyzed from the point of narrator, content, wording, method and items. Besides of these aspects, it's aimed how his novels is built on a foundation. Boyunağa's works have the characteristic of a slice of life and bring to life historical characters' qualities. Writer makes tiny distinctions both his novel's form and content and various kinds of his novels especially his historical novels form completeness. His realistic and romantic approaches show that he does not lock himself one of literary movement. The study consists of five sections and its first section is the instruction part which is mentioned features of the novels. In the second section of it, gives information about Boyunağa's life, art and works and these works are narrated with their summaries. In the third section of it, his novels are resolved in terms of form and content and the technique of his novels are confirmed. In fourth section of it, materials are stated and in the fifth section of it, method is specified. The last section of the study is finished with conclusion.
