Comparison of BSC performance evaluation method with AHP analysis and application

Performance and efficiency are the two most fundamental factors for all businesses around the world. Objectively determining performance measurement criteria is as important as measuring and effectively managing performance. In this study, Balanced Scorecard (BSC), one of the performance evaluation methods, was used to determine the performance measurement criteria in an objective way. In practice, the 4 main criteria of BSC were calculated by making pairwise comparisons with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The financial dimension, customer dimension, internal processes dimension and learning and development dimension of the company operating in the metal plating sector in Izmir for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 were measured with AHP and their importance levels were reached.
