Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to define the properties of socio-demographic factors that interfere with internal and external work satisfaction levels of health workers and their problems caused by the transaction from the old Community Clinic model to the Family Doctor Pilot Application under the 02.11.2011 dated 28103 Family Doctor Law published in the Official Gazette and the 11.10.2011 dated 663 numbered Statutory Decree. The study was performed with the contribution of 220 health care system employees of 30 Family Health Centers in the Ġstanbul Esenler district after obtaining necessary approvals from Istanbul State Health Directorate. All 220 employees involved in the study were contacted but only 160 persons that have responded to the study questionnaires were taken into consideration. 58 of the contributing personnel were family doctors, 102 were family health center workers. Age ranges, marital statuses, education levels, cumulative work experience, role appropriateness and Minnesota work satisfaction scale were taken into consideration to define the overall work satisfaction and factors that affects it.
