Ali Ekrem Bolayir's life, art and works

Ali Ekrem Bolayır is one of the strongest poet of Servet-i Fünûn could not have a properly education but he had private classes and after that he improved himself for all of his entire lifetime. As all intellectuals of II.Abdulhamit time, he was overwhelmed and he choosed to write about personal topics especially nature, because it was dangerous to write about social topics. It was an innovation that little things can be topic of a poem and he wrote poets in this way than he became famous about it. He was working at the palace as a clerk and it was a kind of open arrest for him because he was Namık Kemal's son and II.Abdulhamit thought that he could change sultan with some work. Because of some rumours that he could do an assasination for sultan's daughter he sent as a governer to Jarusalem, Beirut and islands as Midilli, Sakız, Rodos. These duties were exile places for him. After these periods he came back to Istanbul with his family and started to work as a teacher at highschools and universities. He lost his son Cezmi and his daughter Ayşe Masume in very young years of them and affected very badly. He never stoped to work or write and he wrote poems, stories, critics, letters, school boks and he tried very hard to wrote a last masnavi for Turkish literature. He never stoped to send letters to his students and gave a lot of advices for them about life and literature; he shared his personal life and problems as well.
