Abstract (EN)
Turkish literature, with its rich history is a cultural treasure with countless masterpieces, especially divans, which has been waiting to be increased their values or has stil been lost besides he ones reached out today. In our study examinates the divan of Amasyalı Âkif, who was born in Amasya at the end of XVII Century and died at his birthplace near the end of XVIII Century. The divan's transcripted text in forming Amasyalı Âkif's life and his works was recreated with modern Turkisch. The only copy of the poet's work which we have studied is available in Topkapı Palace Museum Treasure library. The divan consist of 2 odes, 39 lyrics, 8 rubais, 9 verses, 5 couplets, 2 dates and 1 lügaz. He used long high-level artful utterances, long compositions and interlaced texts and also original dreams under the influence of Sebk-i Hindi which was built up by Persian poets. His divan, which was created in XVIII century has acted as a guide to puth forth the literary understanding of the age. In summary, with this study we have tried to introduce Amasyalı Âkif's life and his works as well as his place in Turkish culture.
