Abstract (EN)

Aim of this study is to assess relations between decision making, problem solving skills and communication with their coaches of football players in professional and amateur leagues, also to introduce whether age, education background and playing positions of players have an effect on this relation.284 individuals being football players in professional and amateur leagues at Turkish Football Federation Ankara region and are chosen by casual selection method have participated voluntarily to the study. In the study, ?Scale of Problem Solving Skills?, ?Scale of Melbourne Decision Making I-II? and ?Scale of Football Coach Communication? have been used as data collection methods.According to the results the study, scores of professional and amateur football players in sub-dimension of Scale of Problem Solving Skills, in sub-dimension of Scale of Melbourne Decision Making I-II and in Scale of Football Coach Communication being differentiated or not upon age, education background and playing positions of players is assessed.Keywords: Football Player, Problem Solving Skills, Decision Making Skill and Communication with Coach
