Abstract (EN)
INTRODUCTION: Health, with the search of being healthy, has become a phenomenon which has been tried to be defined and developed ,in this way has become an service field. Around the world, changes in health service perceptions and quality transformations, patient-oriented health services and patient satisfaction have become important. In this thesis health servive preferences and the factors that effects these choises have been examined. METHODS: This cross-sectional survey was performed between 01.04.2018-01.06.2018 in three county of Ankara which had different development levels.In each county, survey was performed in three family health center and for each center, three family medicine units enrolled the study. Between the stated dates and in the defined centers,randomly choosen volunteers was included to the study and the questionaire which included 32 questions prapared after literature investigation was applied to them. For the statistical analysis and calculations IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 program was used. RESULTS: 532 People attended to the study. Avarage age of the people that joined the survey was 40.31± 15.13 years , minimum age was 18, maximum age was 88. %41.7 Of volunteers (n=222) were living in Çankaya which had very high human development index, %35.5 of them(n=188) were living in Mamak which had middle human development index and %23 of volunteers(n=122) were living in Polatlı which had high human development index. %50.9 Of volunteers (n=271) were women,%49.1 of them (n=261) were men. %35.5 Of volunteers had at least one chronic disease and %35.8 of them were using at least one drug. In a health problem situation, %52.4 of volunteers prefered to consult primary care services,%23.3 prefered public hospitals, %9.3 prefered training and research hospitals, %4.9 prefered university hospitals,%9.3 prefered private health services and %0.6 of volunteers prefered to consult pharmacy. Social health assurance, easy access, reliability and to be examined by the same doctor were the first choises for the health service preference reasons. CONCLUSION: Although, in this study volunteers choosed primary care services dominantly,in general view,expected and wanted preference ratios of primary health services was not reached for low costing and effective health system. Firstly chosen health services preferences did not influenced by age,gender and education of the volunteers, as the income rate increased, usage of private health service ratio increased according to our study results. Abouth this issue, more extensive studies must be performed to scrutinise preference reasons. KEYWORDS: Health Service Preferences, Human Development İndex, Primary Care Services
