Although it is not known when and by whom this epic was written, it is widely said that it was written by Al-Asmaʿi in VIII century. The work written in Arabic was translated into Turkish in the XV. century upon the request of Mehmet The Conqueror. The epic that we study on is started with the Abs tribe waging war on the Amir tribe. While Melik Kays's struggle against the enemy tribes with the support of Antarah ibn Shaddad is narrated, Anter, who was humiliated by everyone because he was the son of a odalisque mother, continued his efforts to earn his freedom and overcame the difficult tasks stipulated in order to reach his love Able. The epic ended with Anter's wedding following the end of the wars and the establishment of peace. İt is aimed to reveal the translation of Anterâme which has existed in our country for centuries, to increase the studies conducted in this field and to bring other volumes to our literary world with this study.
