Abstract (EN)
This study examines the effect of case-based training on technology acceptance and factors affecting the technology use behavior of personnel who work in public order services. Based on this aim, a technology acceptance model was suggested to determine technology acceptance levels with 371 participants using "Personal Information Form" and "Technology Acceptance Scale". Structural Equation Model, ANOVA and t-test was used to analysis. Results show that model has appropriate factor structure and model fit values according to exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. There are significant relationships between model factors. Our findings show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, subjective norm and perceived enjoyment factors have significant effect on behavioral intent. Educational level has significant correlation with behavioral intent. Technological device usage frequency has significant correlation with perceived ease of use. Technology usage skill has significant relation with perceived usefulness, ease of use and behavioral intent. The effect of in-service information training on the technology acceptance was examined with pre-test and post-test control group research design. The findings clearly indicate that in-service information trainings have significant effect on technology acceptance factors except relevance factor. It can be stated that case-based learning method has better effect on perceived usefulness than traditional learning method. In addition, the learning method with age and professional experience has an interaction effect on behavioral intention. This research shows that education has a significant impact on technology acceptance. It is suggested that institutions should provide training to their personnel during the acceptance and diffusion of innovation.
