Plastic analysis of horse image: Şişli Studio example

The horse is the adventure of a god, who has stalked every phase of life since it was tamed by man as a result of the need-benefit principle. The ongoing journey of the horse through the ages has granted a sacred blessing on the horse. The perception of each horse object interacted in the external world, the process of transformation into image and its reproduction showed differences in time in every society. Each culture makes its art and artist visible with the images of that culture. With this excuse, the artist has reflected his / her thought structure and the concept of art into visible images. As a result of this approach, each horse's image encountered can create vital experience to the extent guided by the artist, and the viewer himself has created contextual freedom with his subjective perspective. So what did the horse image tell us? How did the process start when the viewer came across the horse image? In his work of art, has the horse image presented us with the opportunity to experience how he got to the moment when he got together with his audience? In the face of the infinite nature of form and context, how did the audience approach? With which concepts does the horse image become identify with? How did the artist make the image of the horse using the image? In this thesis, 'Plastic Analysis of Horse Image: Şişli Studio Example' with the image of horse in the paintings created in Şişli Workshop were approached. The aim of this study was to investigate the contribution of horse image to the art of painting. A selection of artists was produced that produced the pictures related to the subject being researched, and the images of horse in the works of Şişli Studio were determined and plastic analyzes were made in the frame of formal and contextual criticism.
