The narration techniques used in the novels of Ayfer Tunç

The tradition of tahkiye, which is a kind of narration used in Turkish Literature, is based on oral literature before the Tanzimat in Turkish literature. With the Tanzimat literature, the tradition of narration became "art of expression" and later became a modern narrative technique in the modern sense. In creating their fictional texts, the novelists have also paid attention to the way of transferring at least as much as the subject. Especially after the development of novel writing tradition in the modern style, the use of narrative techniques has become widespread. Ayfer Tunç is one of the most widely preferred authors of novel writing techniques. Mrs. Tunç, who has written six novels so far, has consciously used narrative techniques in all of her works. In this study, The narrative techniques used in her novels such as Kapak Kızı, Bir Deliler Evinin Yalan Yanlış Anlatılan Kısa Tarihi, Yeşil Peri Gecesi, Suzan Defter, Dünya Ağrısı, Âşıklar Delidir and Yazı Tura are explained with examples. Mrs. Tunç adopts to present the reader in different formats rather than portraying the plot in her novels in a casually or classic style. This study consists of two parts. In the introduction, the changes in the tradition of tahkiye and the art of narration and the development process of modern narrative techniques are explained by focusing on novels in Turkish literature from Tanzimat to Republic. In the first section, Ayfer Tunç's life, her literary personality and her works are presented. In the second section, narrative techniques are explained. After theoretical explanation, the narrative technique discussed in each title has been corroborated by giving examples from novel texts. In the conclusion, It was determined which narrative techniques used in Ayfer Tunç's novels. Key Words: The tradition of tahkiye, Ayfer Tunç, Narration Techniques, Postmodernizm
