Abstract (EN)
In the studies on minstrelsy in terms of tradition, art and literature, minstrelsy from father to son is among the reasons of inclination towards minstrelsy. Researchers explain this issue as "inheriting from family elders, tending to minstrelsy", "heredity" and atavism. Members of the tradition (performers) who have been minstrel for at least two generations are tackled in the father-son minstrel model as father-son or grandfather-father-son. Minstrelsy from father to son is important in terms of keeping the tradition alive under more productive conditions, preserving the elements of tradition and ensuring the continuity of the minstrel branches/schools. It is seen that the father minstrel is the first factor in the tendency of the son minstrel to the tradition, and he taught the rules and subtleties of the tradition to the son minstrel first hand. The apprenticeship training of the son minstrel takes place in more productive conditions compared to the father minstrel. Although there are exceptions but "mahlas" and "berat" are usually given to the son minstrel by the father minstrel. By taking advantage of the reputation and prestige of the father minstrel, the son minstrel makes himself accepted more easily in the tradition. In the scope of the work, the tradition representation status of the father-son minstrels Laçin Aladağlı (1922-1980) and İsmail Aladağlı (1956-...), who were born in the village of Camuşlu in the Kağızman district of Kars, and the elements of tradition transferred from father to son were examined. In the tradition of minstrelsy, elements such as "writing under a pseudonym", "singing while improvising", "minstrel melodies", "playing saz", "being influenced / taking someone as role model", "encounter technique", "storytelling", "assembly morals" are elements of tradition that pass from father to son.
