Abstract (EN)

Study of thesis is staphylococci that express the mecA determinant are termed MRS (methicillin-resistant Staphylococci). Resistance to methicillin and other penicillinase-resistant penicillins can also be seen in strains that lack the mecA gene. This pathogen can be found colonizing moist skin in different regions such as the nose, perineum and armpits, which, together with virulence factors, determines its pathogenicity in infections. Staphylococcus aureus is the most common agent of pyogenic infections. These infections can be located in the skin or in deeper regions. Primary skin infections caused by Staphylococci are generically called pyoderma. Pyoderma is variable in contagiousness and is named according to location and other characteristics. Antibiotic resistance is a worldwide concern, as it compromises the successful treatment of infections. The correct use of antibiotics and their correct disposal should be a responsibility not only of the health professional but also of the general population. The beta-lactam antibiotics, whose mechanism of action is the inhibition of the last stage of the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, constitute the largest family of antimicrobials. These are antibiotics with slow bactericidal action, with time-dependent activity, which generally have good distribution and low toxicity.
