Abstract (EN)

White-rot fungi, in Basidiomycotina class, are capable of synthesizing high enzyme. These characteristics increase their importance in biotechnology. In this study, determining some white-rot fungi which grow naturally in Diyarbakır- Mardin province, extracellular enzymes that these species produce were studied. Nine Basidiomycetes strains were investigated in whey (PAS) and saboroud dekstroz broth (SDB) medium in which cotton straw was used as enzyme inducer. In this study Laccase, Manganese peroxsidase (MnP) and Ligninase peroxsidase (LiP) activation was observed in all species. The highest Laccase activation was determined as 150,47 and 100.24 U/ml in Amillariella tabescens 1 SDB+P and A. tabescens 2 PAS+P mediums, respectively. When MnP and LiP activations were considered, Fomes. fomentarius 1 and F. fomentarius 2 strains that were used in the study were remarkable. In this study, it is obviously seen that cotton straw induced enzyme activations. These species and cotton straw must be evaluated in the biotechnological application.Key Words: Basidiomycetes, Ligninolytic Enzymes, Biotechnology, Cotton straw, Whey.
