The Effects of Some Plant Wastes On Development And Yield in Various Phasesof Pleurotus sajor caju (Fr) SingerWheat straw (B) and 1:1 rate of the raw wheat straw (B) and wheat-maize (B-M) wereused as raw materials for cultivation of Pleurotus sajor caju (Fr) Singer. As additives,howeer, different rates of lentil straw (MS) and rice bran (PK) were used.In the preliminary study, 50 g (%5) and 100 g (%10) of additives were used separatelyfor 1kg dry raw material. In the main study, however, 100 g ( %10) and 200 g (%20) ofadditives were mixed and added for 1kg dry raw material.As a result of the preliminary study, the shortest mycelium growth period wasobtained as 9.8 days at B+ 75 MS; and the longest as 23.6 days at B-M+ 37,5 MS. Theshortest Basidiocarp formation period was found on average as 28.6 days at B-M+ 37,5 PK.The longest Basidiocarp formation period was determined to be 67.4 days at B 37.5 MS.In the preliminary studies conducted, we could not obtain three harvests in all of therepetition of trial groups.The fresh mushroom yield that was obtained from 100 g material (%70 moisture) infirst harvest was detemined to be the highest at B-M+ 75PK as 9.18 g, and, the lovest at B+37.5 MS as 3.64 g. In total harvest,however, the highest yield was found as 5.08 g at B+ 37.5MS.In main study; the shortest period for mycelium growth was obtained as 12.8 days onB, the longest period as 38.0 days on B-M+ 1MS:2PK were obtained. The shortestBasidiocarp formation period, the first harvesting period and total harvesting period on Bwere determined as; 16.4, 21.6, and 86.0 days, respectively. The longest Basidiocarpformation period, the first harvesting period and total harvesting period on B found to be51.2, 55.0 days, respectively. The longest total harvesting period was obtained as 105.8 dayson B-M+ 2MS:1PK.The fresh mushroom with 100 g material (%70 moisture) at first, second and totalharvesting period was determined to be the highest as 10.6, 7.3, 25.1 g respectively, on B-M+ 1MS:2PK. While the lowest yield was 15.7 g in B at total harvesting period; the lowestyield was obtained as 17.1 g on B+ 2MS:1PK at first harvesting period.Keyword: Pleurotus sajor- caju, Cultivation, Growing, Yield
