Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the destruction of nature caused by the intensive use of chemicals and the resistance gained by the continuous use of pests against these chemicals has led the science to turn to studies on plant extracts that can replace chemicals. In our study; Thyme extracts; Thymus vulgaris, Thymus sientici, Thymus citriodorus and Thymus cililus were tested by spraying against the nymphs of Sitobion avenae. All tests were carried out over 100 nymphs and five replicates, each placed in 10 cm diameter plastic petroleum at 25 ° C and 65% humidity conditions. In the spray effect tests, 0.1 ml, 0.5 ml and 1.0 ml doses of each kind were used against S. avenae nymphs. In the spray test, all doses of the four extracts caused 100% death on day 5 of S. avenae. The highest mortality rate was 99% at the end of 48 hours in 1 ml dose of each 4 cultivars.
