Abstract (EN)

This research has carried out in the Yazıköy village of Burdur Center in 2017 in order to determine the effect of different foliar fertilizers on yield, yield components and quality of sugar beet. 8 different foliar fertilizers, that are used from time to time by farmers in the region, developed by different companies and recommended for sugar beet cultivation, Aminofol, Batguano, Borzinc, Comozink, Flora-X, Photon, Humatex-SF, liquid worm fertilizer have been used. Leaf yield (kg/da), root-trunk yield (kg/da), biological yield (kg/da), polar sugar ratio (%) and polar sugar yield (kg/da) have been statistically significant. According to the results of the study; the most effective fertilizer on leaf yield (1055.7 kg/da), root-trunk yield (6947.0 kg/da), biological yield (7896.3 kg/da) and polar sugar yield (1248.0 kg/da) has been Foton. The most effective foliar fertilizers on the ratio of polar sugar has been Foton (%17.96) and Flora-X (%17.81). In general, it has been observed that foton leaf fertilizer has been the most effective foliar fertilizers on leaf yield, root-trunk yield, biological yield and polar sugar yield. Other foliar fertilizers used have also contributed positively to yield. It has been determined that Batguano and Comozink fertilizers had affected the yield negatively. It is concluded that these studies should be done in different locations for long years in order to reach a definite conclusion.
