Abstract (EN)
Field studies have been conducted in Ankara Province, Beypazari District, Beypazari Kapakli Wildlife Conservation Area. Camera-traps have been used in order to identify large mammals living in the field. Field studies have been performed from June to October in 2015 and 2016. 46 camera-traps have been used during both periods. Totally 9887 camera-trap days have been reached by using 46 camera-traps in both of the two survey periods during the monitoring studies. Systematic approach has been used in which camera-traps were placed in the area at the intervals of 1400 metres approximately. It was thus aimed to monitor whole area for the large mammals. Existence of large mammals living in the area has been shown at the end of the study. Data such as daily activity patterns, frequency of detection by camera-traps, and monthly activities belonging to the species such as red deer, brown bear, wolf, and lynx have been provided.
