Yeditepe University Institute of Health Sciences, 2024. This study was conducted in a descriptive and cross-sectional manner to examine the relationship between nurses' lifelong learning tendencies and job satisfaction. The sample of the study consisted of 200 volunteers who met the inclusion criteria and worked in a foundation hospital between July and September 2023. Data were collected using the Sociodemographic Information Form, Lifelong Learning Tendencies Scale and Job Satisfaction Scale. Descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage analysis, mean, standard deviation), Kurtosis and Skewness in normality distribution, independent groups t test, one-way variance and Pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the differences. 86% of the nurses participating in the research were women, 52% were 25 years old and under; 76% are single, 58.5% have income equal to their expenses, 64% have a bachelor's degree, 66.5% are service nurses and 62.5% have 1-5 years of working experience. The scale total score averages of the participants are 138.92± 16.79 for the lifelong learning tendencies scale and 95.11±19.55 for the job satisfaction scale, respectively. It has been found that nurses' lifelong learning tendencies and job satisfaction are affected by their income level, working order, participation in educational and scientific activities, liking the profession and feeling valued in the institution. In addition, age, gender, marital status, graduation status, working experience and position also affected job satisfaction (p<0.05). A weak positive correlation was found between the total score average of the job satisfaction scale and its subscales physical conditions, individual factors and control autonomy, and the subscale motivation score average of the lifelong learning tendency scale (p<0.05). The findings of the study revealed that nurses' lifelong learning tendencies were above average and their job satisfaction levels were at medium levels. It has been determined that there is a relationship between nurses' lifelong learning tendencies and their job satisfaction levels. Key Words: Nursing, Lifelong Learning, Job Satisfaction
