Abstract (EN)
In this study; It is aimed to investigate the relationship between person-organization fit, work-life balance and employee happiness variables and to investigate whether work-life balance has a mediating role in the relationship between individual-organization fit and employee happiness. In the context of the model in question, the relations of the variables with each other and the mediator variable analysis were made. The sample of the study consists of 217 participants actively working in public banks and private banks operating in Turkey. Relevant data were collected through a questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS package program. Normality analysis, reliability analysis, and exploratory (exploratory) factor analyzes were carried out within the scope of these analyses. In order to test the hypotheses, analyzes were made with the help of the Process Macro program developed by Hayes (2013). In this direction, simple effect analysis was performed to determine the relationship between the variables, and mediation effect analysis was performed to determine the mediation effect. According to the data obtained as a result of the analysis, all hypotheses in the model proposed in the study were supported. Accordingly, it was found that individual-organization fit has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance, and that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee happiness. The hypothesis that individual-organization fit has a positive and significant effect on employee happiness was also supported. In the study, it was found that work-life balance plays a full mediating role in the effect of individual-organization fit on employee happiness.
