Abstract (EN)
Today, especially in developed and developing countries, biogas facilities have an important place in the evaluation of various wastes. One of the products resulting from the operation of biogas facilities is biogas liquid fertilizers. Obtaining these fertilizers completely free of chemical substances allows them to be used as organic fertilizer in agricultural areas. In addition, the fact that biogas liquid fertilizer does not have a harmful effect on living and environmental health due to its organic properties suggests that the use of such fertilizers will increase in the future. In this thesis study, biogas liquid fertilizer, supplied from a biogas facility established in Şanlıurfa province of the Southeastern Anatolia Region, was applied to certain parcels of the trial areas under open field conditions at a dose of 1.5 tons/da. Accordingly, the study was carried out to determine the effects of biogas liquid fertilizer applied in 15 different trial areas where Candia cotton variety was grown, on the general properties of the soil and cotton yields in the trial areas. According to the research results, when cotton yield is examined, (2) (623 kg), (3) (680 kg), (5) (600 kg), (6) (600 kg), (9) (600 kg), (10) (712 kg), (11) (610 kg), (13) (690 kg) and (15) (640 kg) significantly higher cotton yield values were obtained in all areas compared to control plots. In addition, when the data obtained were evaluated in terms of texture, pH, EC, organic matter, lime, macro and micro element parameters in the soils in the trial areas, it was generally seen that the biogas liquid fertilizer used in the soils contained pH, EC, organic matter, Cu and Zn. It has no effect on the parameters; On the other hand, it was found to have a significant effect on texture, lime, Fe, P and K parameters. As a result of the research, in terms of soil properties, it was concluded that biogas liquid fertilizer significantly improved the texture ratios and K amounts of the soils, while it reduced the lime amounts, P ratios and Fe amounts of the soils. Based on this, the study found that biogas liquid fertilizer has significant effects on cotton plants and soils, and therefore, the hope of using the fertilizer as an alternative product to commonly used chemical fertilizers has arisen. On the other hand, it is thought that such fertilizers should be tested in many more agricultural areas in order to fully understand their effect mechanisms on plants and soil.
