Energy security in the Eastern Mediterranean within the scope of regional security complex

The Eastern Mediterranean geography has been the cradle of many civilizations for thousands of years with its geopolitical and geostrategic location. In the historical process, energy sharing and the struggle for rights have been added to the deep-rooted problems existing among the countries in this geography, resulting in new political and military conflicts. This study will focus on the relations between the countries of the region and the effects of the area of competition on regional security. The study, which examines the energy profiles of the countries in the region, will examine the hydrocarbon discoveries in the region, the changing and developing interstate relations with these discoveries, the effects of energy politics on the security phenomenon and the approaches of global powers to the region.
