Abstract (EN)

In parallel with the technological developments, R & D and P & D activities gained importance with the shortening of product life span, and new product development, product customization and rapid model change came to the fore. With the agile production methods come to the forefront, in today's market conditions, companies have challenging targets such as producing their products with high quality and fast at the same time with optimum cost. Product cost is one of the most important factors for companies to make profit. One of the factors that affect the cost of the product is the material selection which is just as important as the production process. Choosing the most suitable material according to the usage area of the product is critical. Choosing the right material can eliminate many cost elements in the production process. With the developing technology, it has become more important to reduce the production costs, to produce higher quality materials with less cost and to minimize the reprocessing costs for products using polymer matrix composite materials which are becoming more widely used in the aerospace, defense industry and transportation sectors. In this sense knowing how the composite materials will behave under the influence of factors such as temperature, pressure, load, stress, time will allow for the prediction and determination of the damages that will occur. Prevention of creep damage caused by temperature and stresses of composite materials is of great importance. Therefore, the materials used in products that will work under high temperature and stress should have high creep behavior. In this study, fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite material that have 4 different fabric density (200 g / m2, 300 g / m2, 500 gr / m2, 800 gr / m2) was investigated in 4 different temperature values (20℃, 30℃, 40℃, 50℃ ) and under 3 different loading (2 kg, 4 kg, 6 kg). Composite materials whose mechanical properties were determined by tensile and bending tests were subjected to creep test at specified loads and temperatures.
