Abstract (EN)

Concrete is a building element with a very high practice percentage in the field of building elements. In recente years, technological developments have enabled great improvements in concrete technology as well as in all areas. It can also produce high strenghts thanks to various conditions and additives. Various organic and inorganic origin materials have been added to the concrete mixture to improve the diverse properties of fresh or hardened concrete. This added substances are called additives. One of this substances added to the fresh concrete mixture is glass fiber and this concrete reinforced with glass fiber additive is called "Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete". With reinforcement of the glass fiber to the concrete mixture, significant increases in the fire, pressure and tensile strength of the concrete have been observed. In this study, different rates of glass fiber are reinforced and the effects of concrete with constant water/cement ratio on compressive and tensile strengths compared ton on-reinforced concrete are investigated.
