Abstract (EN)

This work was carried out on some black pine (Pinus nigra L.) stands in section 371 in the forests of Çankırı-Eldivan Forest Management Directorate. The study was carried out to determine the infestation density of pine mistletoe (Viscum album L.) parasite on natural larch juveniles and the relationship between some site characteristics and the infestation density of mistletoe. Within the scope of the thesis, stand parameters and mistletoe contamination degree were determined in 21 sample areas. The amount and density of mistletoe on the individual were made according to the 6-grade dwarf mistletoe classification system. As a result of the evaluation of the data obtained, 98% in the main stand in the black pine forests of the Eldivan region; In the natural youth of black pine, 3% contamination was detected. In all of the stands where the infestation is detected, natural regeneration is carried out and the main stand elements with medium and high infestation are immediately removed from the stand. It is envisaged to leave the pioneering natural youth in the field and to carry out mechanical struggle in individuals with contamination.
