Turkestan in national rebellions during tzarism period

National autonomy struggle of the Turkistan can be discussed in two parts. The first part began with the opposition of the Hive Khanate against the Russian vanguards in 1717. National struggle in this period was tried to be carried by regular army unions which had been organized until the occupation of the Turkistan and through diplomatic channels. The second stage was determined by the emergence of nationalist visages after some regions of the Turkistan came under domination of Russia and by the participation of the public. This period is referred to as ? Rebellions? Period ? ( Ayaklanmalar Devri ) .When examining ? Rebellions? Period ? ( Ayaklanmalar Devri ) , though accrued grudge and hate emerged from time to time , they had usually disputes among themselves and they were lack of unity and this postponed a systematic act . The most important factor in emergence of this rebellion or opposition , the policy followed by Russia and the repression .These rebellions which oppose to Russians occurred on Turcoman and Uzbek lands . We see many rebellions against occupation by Russia in Turkistan . However , we see that they could not usually accomplish a result .Leaderlessness, the biggest failure of the resistance actions conducted against Tsarist Russia played a great role in the failure of the battles against Russia, and this problem continued in the time of Soviet Unions; however the praiseworthy struggle of the Turkistan People for their freedom despite the losses and destructions is of great importance in the history. The Great Struggle by our Ancestors for the freedom of our Nation established an example for the Nations under slavery.
