Abstract (EN)
In our country newspapers be came popular in the 19th century. ın the period of Mahmut the II, The first turkish newspaper was published with the support of the government. The number of newspapers started to in crease since 1860. The Ceride-i Mehakim newspaper which is our subject, also formed in this period. Ceride-i Mehakim newspaper It was first published weekly in May (?) 1873 by the Ministry of Justice from the old Ottoman Turkish to today's modern Turkish.We tried to translate the numbers between 1-42 from Ottoman Turkish to modern Turkish. The Ceride-i Mehakim news paper refers to justice, law, politicaland social matters of the period.
