Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to develop a method for chemical analysis of wastewater and drinking water that can be applied in environmental education and industrial areas, which is thought to be easy and economical to apply. Within the scope of this aim, it is aimed to develop "Concentration Control Cards" based on the solution color intensity by using standard solutions having different concentrations and to use these cards in the analysis of COD, Ammonium and Nitrate parameters. The applicability of the developed method has been tested and reliability and validity studies have been performed. For this purpose, the concentration levels determined by the control cards on the various drinking water and wastewater samples were compared by the researcher with the concentration values obtained after the measurements made with an appropriate number of spectrophotometer devices. After these studies, it has been concluded that the method is economical and applicable, it can be used in educational activities and in industrial applications.
