Abstract (EN)

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of iron and zinc and iron+zinc combination on yield and yield components in canola growing. Material and Method: The canola cultivar, DK Exception, was used as material. The iron and zinc foliar fertilizer and their combination were applied at rosette and flowering stage of canola. Experiment was arranged at Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications in experimental area of Aydin Adnan Menderes University, Agricultural Faculty in 2021-2022 cotton growing season. The measured characters were seed yield, number of pods per plant, plant height, number of seeds per pod, branch number and thousand seed weight. Results: The effects of iron and zinc and iron+zinc combination on seed yield, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod and thousand seed weight were found to be significant. The range was 151,08 - 160,10 cm for plant height; 5,50 - 6,58 for branch number; 213,37 - 321,64 for number of pods per plant; 22,52 - 25,65 for number of seeds per pod; 3,33 - 4,02 g for thousand seed weight and 2901,7 ile 4188,8 kg ha-1. The singnificantly higher values were obtained from ocombination only Fe application for number of pods per plant; iron, zinc and iron+zinc combination for number of seeds per pod; iron and zinc applications for thousand seed weight and seed yield. Conclusion: It was concluded that iron and zinc foliar fertilizers should be applicated separately for yielding canola growing. Keywords: Canola, Iron (Fe), Yield components, Yield, zinc (Zn)
