Abstract (EN)
In this research, based on Kate Millett's sexual politics, Foucault's theory of subject and power, and Butler's kuir and performativity theories, it is aimed to reveal how kuir and heterosexual subjects construct a subjectivity over their gender identity and sexual orientation, how love, sexuality and power make sense and the reflection of the power relations of the patriarchal order on the sexual practices of the subjects. In this study, where feminist and kuir methodology was adopted, qualitative research techniques were used. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were provided with a total of 15 people consisting of kuir (10) and heterosexual (5) subjects with assigned gender is woman. The data obtained from the field was transcribed through the Inscribe program. Through the MAXQDA 2018 program, the data was categorised as codes and thematic analysis was made. In this context, the research is divided into three thematic sections. These are; Subjective Processes of Gender Identity, Subjective Processes of Sexual Orientation, and Sexual Practices and the Power Relationship. The results obtained from the research show that the subjectification processes of queer and heterosexuals differ through the distinction between normal and abnormal as indicated by Foucault. The extent of discrimination and violence over intersectional identities is also diversifying. When we look at the power relations in sexual practices, it is seen that power relations exist in both queer and heterosexual subjects experiences. Sexual experiences of queer and heterosexual subjects who assigned gender is women with cis straight men, it is often seen to take form through submission to power. However specifically the queer subjects who describe themselves as feminists, in sexual practices with cis women and trans men, it is seen that the relations of power are more uncertain and they are resisting power in this context.
