A review on the works of Hafize Çınar Güner in the framework of children's literature

In this study, it is aimed to examine the works written by Hafize Çınar Güner for children within the framework of children's literature. The place and importance of the works in children's literature and children's inclination were tried to be revealed. In the conceptual framework section, information about children's literature, the author's life, literary personality and works were given. In this study, descriptive survey model, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The data in this study were collected by document review technique covering the analysis of written materials. As the material of the study, 18 children's literature books of the author were selected. These works of the author are examined within the framework of children's literature in terms of internal structure and external structure elements. Under the heading of subject, entity staff, language and expression as internal structure elements, idioms, dilemmas, spelling and punctuation errors are discussed and examined. An evaluation was made within the scope of external building elements and the pictures used in the work were interpreted and examined. It was determined that the examined works were generally suitable for children in the relevant age group and recommended to teachers and parents. At the end of the study, the interview with the author and some pictures from the books were added.
