Abstract (EN)

The primary objective of this research is to explore the relation among parents' burnout, resilience, cognitive flexibility, and anxiety levels during the Covid-19 pandemic. 134 parents are administered using Demographic Information Form, Parent's Burnout Assessment (PBA), Adult Psychological Resilience Scale (APRS), Cognitive Flexibility Scale (CFI), and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). The descriptive and Exploratory Correlational research method is used to examine the relationship between study variables and demographic variables. Spearman Correlational Analysis, Independent samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Spearman Correlational analysis, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal Wallis analysis methods are carried out with the aim of answering the research questions. According to the results, significant differences are found cognitive flexibility, anxiety in terms of gender. However, there are not significant differences between socioeconomic status, number of children, and the diagnosis of COVID-19. Limitations and the finding of the present study are discussed with regard to related literature, and theoretical implications and applications of the findings and suggestions for future research are presented.
