Khabar al wahid in Debusi and Samani doctrins (Within frame of takvimu'l-edille and kavati'ul-edille)

For the reasons of both being an original source and having the characteristics of being explanatory of instrument of Koran, sunnah has been placed into the centre of Islamic researches. Taking into the consideration of the fact that most of this source has reached us as report from individual, Islamic Scholars have specifically laid emphasis on verbal news by stating that the possibility of this news being a lie is the same as the possibility of them being a fact. Therefore, they have set some conditions forward in order to be able to act on them. This study has aimed to reveal how Debusi, which subjected Hanefi Islamic law procedure to a detailed classification and order and the jurists of Shafi Samani doctrins have appraised khabar al wahid and what conditions they looked for to make sure that these were healthy news as well as to determine what kind of relation they should have had with other evidences. This study consists of three sections. In this context, the news concept and types take place in the first section, the acceptance conditions are explained in the second section and finally its relation with other evidences is scrutinized in the third section.
