Transparences and Giresun protection in the sea coast protection

Some problems are encountered because the majority of our country is coastal to the sea. One of them is waves. For this reason, coastal protection fortifications are of great importance. The most affected coasts are in the Eastern Black Sea. In this study, coastal protection fortifications were mentioned in general and the study of Giresunil coastal road in Eastern Black Sea region was examined. Particularly in the eastern part of the Black Sea region, due to the damage caused in the coastal area, sea filling has become inevitable. For this reason, coastal fortifications, T-spurs and breakwaters have gained importance in order to prevent damage to the coastal structure and to prevent coastal erosion. Coastal protection structures between Giresun and Espiye built within the scope of Eastern Black Sea Coastal route have been examined. The study consists of six parts. In the first part of the work, coastal protection structures, wave mechanics, are given general information. In the second part, the previous studies have been mentioned. In the third part, the applied coastal fortifications and the effects of T springs on stability and environment have been examined. In the fourth and fifth sections, conclusions and suggestions related to the topic are mentioned. The lower and seventh sections consist of welds and inserts.
