Derin boyun enfeksiyonlarında cerrahi ve klinik yaklaşım

We aimed to retrospectively evaluate the patients who were admitted to Dicle University Hospital between 2012-2017 due to deep neck infection (DNI). In this study, patients with DNI may be treated with medical treatment, and irreversible life-threatening conditions may arise in spite of emergency surgery. All patients with DNI should be assessed in the light of detailed history, examination, imaging and laboratory examinations. Very rapid evaluation with follow-up and treatment can save many patients from this disease with morbidity and mortality. Key Words:DNI, Tracheotomy, Ludwing
