Abstract (EN)

Destination admiration refers to the emotional and cognitive attachment tourists form towards a destination, usually based on its natural beauty, cultural value, or personal significance. This admiration influences tourists' attitudes, and according to the Theory of Planned Behavior, these attitudes shape behavioral intentions. In this context, tourists tend to revisit a destination. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between destination admiration and revisit intention within the context of the Theory of Planned Behavior. The research investigates the impact of destination admiration on revisit intentions among tourists visiting Beyşehir. A survey was conducted with 462 tourists who visited Beyşehir as part of the study. The data obtained revealed that the sub-dimensions of destination admiration—mystery, allure, uniqueness, suitability, and sincerity—had a significant effect on attitude toward behavior. However, no significant effect was found for the richness sub-dimension. Attitude toward behavior and perceived behavioral control were found to have a significant effect on revisit intention. However, the effect of the subjective norm variable was not found to be significant.
