State and space: From strategic relantionship to social space

The main motivation of this work is the effort to separate the state and space. The first aim is to discuss the ontological structure of the state space by ignoring the specific ideas on the topic. The second aim is to study that the state needs a spatial form of space to gain a legitimate ground and to realize its practices. In this perspective, this study attempted to re-understand the state and the space from a Marxist view following a direction from the smallest form of organization to more macro structures. The interdependency of these ducts formulates the social arena that leads different reactions to arise, thus, allowed us to process two important data; Haussmann's way of devising Paris, and Wacquant's way of dealing with urban pariahs. These showed the new faces of various types of capital. As the state encounters space, we rebuild the social arena by creating spatial sharpness with symbolic breaks.
