The use of force for protection of nationals abroad

The use of force for protection of nationals abroad is a concept describing that a State uses force for saving its nationals abroad from death risk or death. The main purpose of this intervention is to protect its own citizens, even if the state which has intervened in this manner saves the citizens of other states. This goal is a distinctive reason of the use of force to protect the citizens of states outside the country. States that go to the use of force to protect/ save their citizens within the borders of another state, face the "national sovereignty" of that state, where the "national sovereignty" of another state and the "life of the citizens of the other state" conflicts. This conflict raises the question whether it is legitimate for states to use force to protect their citizens outside the country. In these constitutional debates, various ideas have been put forward as a reason for force which used in order to protect the citizens of states outside the country. In practical terms, there are many examples of the use of force to protect citizens of states outside the country: Britain's threat of intervention in Iran (1946 and 1951), Belgium's intervention in Congo (1960), US intervention in Dominican Republic (1965), Entebbe incident (1976), Egypt's intervention in Larnaca (1978), US intervention in Iran (1980), Lebanon War (2006), South Ossetia War (2008). A variety of solutions were proposed in the doctrine of the legitimacy of the use of force in order to protect the citizens of states outside the country. The suggestions for this solution are that the use of force in order to protect citizens outside the country is an independent rule of law, or in such cases, the use of collective force.
