The image of dicle development agency: The case of Artuklu (Mardin)

This research defines the concept of development agency and makes a situation assessment about the recognition, awareness and public image of the development agency in Artuklu district of Mardin province. It is aimed to evaluate the impact and contribution of this situation to the individuals living in the district from different perspectives in terms of the public. The fact that there is no study on regional development in Artuklu district, especially on this subject, constituted the starting point of this research and formed the opinion that this study should be done. Dicle Development Agency (DIKA) operates in the TRC3 Region, and the province of Mardin is located in this TRC3 region. Development Agency; The importance and recognition of their activities in terms of public institutions, private sector organizations, local governments, non-governmental organizations and ultimately society has not been measured by a research of this scale before. For this reason, since the role of the development agency in the development of the province is a matter of curiosity, it aroused the belief that this study should be done.
