Abstract (EN)
Digital platforms, which are the result of technology that continues to develop actively, have become everywhere a sector preferred by users thanks to their accessibility at any moment of daily life. This intense interest continues to increase with the updated and improved features of the platforms. Apart from large screens such as television, the ability to watch unlimited content on smaller screens such as mobile phones, causes digital platforms to be used more actively. This academic study was prepared in order to find the harmony or disharmony between the content and design of the posters of these platforms used and two questionnaires were conducted to be used in the thesis study. Two surveys were conducted to be used in the thesis study. The first of these surveys was conducted to see the increase in the number of members and users during the Covid-19 outbreak and to determine which platforms are used more frequently. As a result of the answers of 249 people participating in the survey, the most frequently used digital platforms were determined as Netflix, Exxen and Puhutv. The second questionnaire was prepared to examine the compatibility of the determined posters with the content and whether the designs are interesting or not, and was completed with the participation of 162 people. In the continuation of this quantitative research, the design-content relationship of the posters published by the selected platforms was examined and in the light of the posters and survey results, it was concluded that the poster designs are related to the content, but in most designs, the content is kept in the background and the posters are prepared using elements that can direct the audience to watch the content (like popular actors, scenes that the audience may like etc.).
