Abstract (EN)
Art, by its nature, has never been indifferent to transformation in light of the technological movements experienced throughout history. As a result of technological advancements, transformation in artistic mediums has become inevitable. These technological movements have caused art to accelerate on the path to digitization, subsequently leading to the emergence of the concept of "digital art." With the evolution of art, the concepts of space and time have gained importance. Within the framework of these concepts, innovations have been experienced in the production and exhibition of artworks, moving away from traditionalism. The intertwining of art with virtual reality technology has led to the emergence of new digital formations rather than the meanings existing in the traditional structure. Subsequently, the pandemic period has unlocked the door to many innovations, along with different alternative formations and interdisciplinary understandings in art. New-generation art mediums such as online exhibitions, virtual museums, NFTs, and the Metaverse have emerged, revealing different dimensions of exhibition and production in art. This study was conducted using a qualitative research method. The conclusion was reached by utilizing local and foreign sources in the literature review. The research, consisting of three sections, is based on the new formations that have emerged with virtual reality technology, in addition to the effects created by spatial and temporal phenomena within the concept of digital art. These formations were evaluated by considering online exhibitions, virtual museums, NFTs, and Metaverse mediums.
