Abstract (EN)
In our study, it was aimed to examine the chronic effect of dynamic and static core strength training on taekwondo bandal-tchagui kick impact pressure and fatigue. For this purpose, 21 taekwondo athletes participated in the study and were divided into two groups as dynamic and static. Dynamic core training was applied to the dynamic group for 6 weeks, and static core training was applied to the static group for 6 weeks. Kicking impact pressure, hand grip strength, back strength, leg strength, stork balance test, standing long jump test were applied to the athletes the day before and the day after the training program. The obtained data were analyzed in SPSS 20 package program. When the data obtained were examined, a significant difference was found between the first and last tests of the static core group in total kick impact pressure (p<0.05). There was no significant difference in the kick-impact pressure and fatigue data between the pre-post-tests of the dynamic group and between the groups (p>0.05). As a result, it can be said that static core training has a low positive effect on taekwondo kicking skill performance, and dynamic core training is not effective.
