Some Alcea l. species of diyarbakir province morphological and anatomical properties

Some Alcea L. species found in Diyarbakır were collected from different parts of Diyarbakır in June-July between 2018-2019. Alcea species were identified. Stems, leaves, feathers, pollen flowers and fruits of plants were examined anatomically and morphologically. For morphological studies; vegetative and generative organs were measured and tables were prepared for the results. In anatomical examinations, organs of the species were taken and photographs of the sections were taken with the help of a camera microscope. In addition, feather and pollen were used for the identification of the species. Alcea species are used in medical, pharmaceutical and dyeing industries, thus increasing interest in these species. It is very difficult to distinguish these species in terms of their character. This can lead to misuse of the plant. Therefore, we believe that it is appropriate to increase biological studies especially on families and genera that contain plants with medicinal use.
