Abstract (EN)

With the changing living standards and developing technology, the demand for nonwoven surfaces is increasing day by day. The durable and porous structures of non-woven surfaces play an important role in making these products highly preferred in daily life and industry. The nonwoven sector includes many hazards and risks arising from the machinery used in production and the working environment. Occupational health and safety measures not taken for these dangers and risks may cause work accidents and occupational diseases. Physical risks in the working environment in the textile industry can cause negative results in terms of employee health. It is very important for the health of the employees to regularly measure the hazards and risk factors in the workplace and to take the necessary precautions. In this thesis, the physical risk factors encountered during the production of nonwovens and the precautions to be taken to protect employee health are discussed. For this purpose, the exposure level of physical risk factors in the working environment was determined by using the standards in a textile factory in Uşak, which produces nonwovens, with noise, thermal comfort, lighting, vibration and dust measurements. Hazards and risks in the working environment were determined by performing risk analysis with the L-type matrix method in the enterprise and information was given about the measures that can be taken.
