Water quality parameters of dokuzsele creek and banaz stream and be evaluated in term of hidromorphologically

At the present time, the importance of water is increasing every day because of water shortage in the world. With this importance, the European Commission has prepared Water Framework Directive, as being the enforcement, because of the protection of the surface and groundwater of the countries and also eliminating the existing water pollution. There are the acquisition of hydromorphological and chemical circumstance at the achievement good ecological situation with the water framework directive. While indexes are used at the characterization of hydromorphological, physicochemical as well as chemical parameters. İn this study, the water quality values of Banaz stream which is in the Büyük Menderes Basin were analyzed and also Dokuzsele creek, a branch of the Banaz Stream, was evaluated from a hydromorphological point of view. As a result of the studies, it is seen that Dokuzsele creek is in poor condition in terms of hydromorphological and water quality values and the Banaz stream are in medium condition within environmental quality standards. The necessary precautions being conveyed are good ecological circumstance at the region and also being good condition of water quality values.
